Voice Syncing seems better, as the dialogue between the characters' mouths now matches their speech.
Framerate drops happen less often, but still happen. Stuttering occurs inside more than outside in my experiences. Both games are smoother after the patch, so there's something to be happy about.
Silent Hill 3 runs better than 2, so if you liked Heather's adventure more than Harry's, this news might make you happy.
Music that accompanies certain scenes doesn't play. I'm not sure if that happened pre-patch, but it's a glaring oversight. Did they not play through the game after they implemented the fixes?
Not enough has changed for me to recommend this HD remake. At best, the Collection is still a buggy mess, just not as infested as before. At worst, the PC and PS2 versions are still the best way to experience the series.
